This Return & Refund Policy outlines the terms under which products can be returned, exchanged, or refunded. By purchasing from us, you agree to comply with this policy.


2. Eligibility for Returns

To qualify for a return or exchange, the following conditions must be met:

  • The product must be unused, undamaged, and in its original condition.

  • It must be returned in its original packaging, including labels, tags, and invoices.

  • The request for return must be raised within 7 days of delivery.

  • Proof of purchase (invoice, order confirmation) is required.


3. Non-Returnable/Non-Refundable Items

Certain categories of products cannot be returned or refunded, including:

  1. Customized or Made-to-Order Items – Tailored curtains, cut-length fabrics, custom wallpapers, or any product designed as per customer specifications.

  2. Used or Damaged Products – Items showing signs of wear, stains, or alteration.

  3. Clearance Sale / Discounted Items – Products sold under final clearance or special discount categories.

  4. Perishable or Hygiene-Sensitive Items – Such as bed linen (sheets, pillow covers, quilts) once used or unsealed.


4. Return Process

If you wish to return a product, please follow these steps:

  2. Approval – Our team will review your request and confirm if the item is eligible for return.

  3. Pickup/Drop-off – Depending on your location, we may arrange courier pickup, or you may be asked to ship/bring the product to our Bhopal store.

  4. Inspection – Once received, our quality team will inspect the product to ensure it meets return eligibility.

  5. Confirmation – If approved, refund/exchange will be processed as per your preference.


5. Refund Process

Refunds will be processed in the following manner:

  • Original Payment Method: Refunds will be credited to the same payment mode used at the time of purchase (UPI, bank transfer, card, wallet, etc.).

  • Processing Time: Refunds may take 7–14 business days to reflect in your account, depending on the payment provider.

  • Partial Refunds: In cases where only part of the order is returned, a partial refund will be issued after deducting applicable shipping charges.

  • Shipping Fees: Initial shipping/delivery charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (wrong/damaged product).


6. Exchange Policy

If you prefer an exchange instead of a refund:

  • Exchanges are subject to product availability.

  • Only items of equal or lesser value can be exchanged directly.

  • If the new product costs more, the customer must pay the price difference.

  • Exchanges follow the same return process (inspection, approval).


7. Damaged or Defective Products

We take utmost care in quality-checking and packaging every order. However, if you receive a damaged or defective product:

  • You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photos/videos as proof.

  • Once verified, we will arrange for replacement, repair, or refund at no extra cost.

  • In such cases, shipping and handling charges will be borne by us.


8. Wrong Product Delivered

If you receive the wrong product (different size, fabric, color, or design than ordered):

  • Contact us immediately with order details and proof.

  • We will arrange for a replacement or issue a full refund after return verification.

  • Customers will not incur additional shipping charges in this case.


9. Return Shipping Guidelines

  • Customers are responsible for securely packaging returned items to prevent damage during transit.

  • If shipping through your own courier, ensure tracking details are shared with us.

  • In cases where we provide reverse pickup, please cooperate with courier partners for smooth collection.


10. Store Purchases vs. Online Purchases

  • Online Orders: Covered by this Return & Refund Policy.

  • In-Store Purchases: Returns/exchanges for in-store purchases will be handled directly at our showroom, subject to in-store policies.


11. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations made before shipment may qualify for a full refund. Once an order is shipped, cancellation will not be possible, and the return process must be followed. (Refer to Cancellation Policy separately).


12. Special Considerations

  • Color and texture variations are common in fabrics, wallpapers, and natural materials. Such variations are not considered defects.

  • Fabrics cut to customer-specified measurements are final sale and non-returnable.

  • Bulk or corporate orders may have separate return terms (to be agreed upon in writing).


13. Our Rights

Decora Lifestyle & Furnishing reserves the right to:

  • Refuse returns that do not meet eligibility criteria.

  • Deduct applicable handling or restocking fees, where necessary.

  • Update or modify this Return & Refund Policy without prior notice.
