1. Introduction

At Decora Lifestyle & Furnishing (“Decora,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), we value your trust and strive to provide a seamless shopping experience. We understand that sometimes you may change your mind after placing an order.

This Cancellation Policy explains the terms under which you may cancel an order, eligibility criteria, refund timelines, and exceptions. By placing an order with us, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.


2. Order Cancellation by Customer

a) Before Order Processing

  • Customers may cancel their order within 24 hours of placing it if the order has not yet been processed or shipped.

  • In such cases, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.

b) After Order Processing but Before Shipping

  • Once the order has entered the processing stage (cutting, packaging, or customization), cancellation requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

  • A cancellation fee of up to 10% of the order value may apply to cover administrative and handling costs.

c) After Shipment

  • Orders that have already been shipped cannot be canceled.

  • In such cases, customers may initiate a return after receiving the product, as per our Return & Refund Policy.


3. Cancellation of Customized or Made-to-Order Products

Certain items are made specifically to your requirements, such as:

  • Custom-length curtains

  • Cut fabrics and upholstery material

  • Personalized wallpapers or murals

  • Special-order flooring or imported items

For such products:

  • Cancellations will not be accepted once production or customization has begun.

  • Only cancellations made within 12 hours of order placement may be considered, provided work has not started.


4. How to Request Cancellation

To request cancellation:

  2. Provide your order number, invoice details, and reason for cancellation.

  3. Our team will confirm whether your order is eligible for cancellation.

  4. If approved, refunds will be processed as per our guidelines (see Section 6).


5. Cancellation by Decora Lifestyle & Furnishing

We reserve the right to cancel any order under the following circumstances:

  • Product out of stock or discontinued.

  • Incorrect pricing or technical error on the website.

  • Non-receipt of payment or incomplete payment verification.

  • Delivery restrictions in your location.

  • Suspected fraudulent activity or breach of our Terms & Conditions.

In such cases:

  • You will be notified immediately.

  • A full refund will be issued to your original payment method.


6. Refunds for Cancelled Orders

Refunds for eligible cancellations will be processed as follows:

  • Refund Method: Same as original payment mode (UPI, card, net banking, wallet, or cash refund for in-store purchases).

  • Processing Time: Refunds may take 7–14 business days depending on your bank or payment provider.

  • Partial Cancellations: If part of an order is canceled, refund will be issued only for the canceled items.

  • Non-Refundable Charges: Shipping charges, handling fees, or customization charges (where applicable) will not be refunded.


7. Cancellations for Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders

  • COD orders can only be canceled before dispatch.

  • If COD order is refused at delivery, future COD orders from the same customer may be restricted.


8. Cancellation of Bulk/Corporate Orders

  • For large or corporate orders (bulk fabric, flooring, or customized furnishings), cancellations are subject to separate agreements.

  • In most cases, a non-refundable advance will apply.


9. Special Conditions

  • Delayed Shipments: If delivery is delayed significantly beyond the committed timeline, customers may request cancellation with a full refund.

  • Multiple Orders: If multiple orders are placed, customers may cancel one or more provided they meet the eligibility criteria.

  • Seasonal Sales & Promotions: Orders placed during clearance sales, festive discounts, or promotional offers may not be eligible for cancellation once processed.


10. Modification of Orders

Instead of canceling, customers may request modifications to their order (change of size, design, or quantity) if:

  • The request is made before processing.

  • The product is not customized.

  • The requested modification is available in stock.

Such requests will be handled on a case-by-case basis.


11. Communication of Cancellations

All approved cancellations will be confirmed via:

  • Email to your registered email address, and/or

  • SMS/WhatsApp confirmation (if applicable).

We advise customers to retain cancellation confirmation for their records.


12. Responsibility of Customers

Customers are responsible for:

  • Reviewing product details (dimensions, fabric type, color, finish) before purchase.

  • Ensuring accuracy of billing and shipping addresses.

  • Contacting us promptly if cancellation is required.

Failure to meet these responsibilities may affect eligibility for cancellation or refund.

  • Charge administrative fees where necessary.


14. Governing Law & Disputes

This Cancellation Policy is governed by the laws of India.
Any disputes arising shall fall under the jurisdiction of courts in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
